What are your favorite ways to use leftover baked ham?

Update:

It's been 5 days and I'm running out of ideas!

Update 2:

Edit: I've never had ham in a soup, maybe I'll try that.

they sky is the limit for ideas of using left over meats..

slice thinly and make homemade egg mcmuffins (like mcdonalds)

dice up and use in salads

    or stir frys

    slice up and make sandwiches

    use in soups

use as flavoring in beans or other vegetables

dice as tiny as you can, and toast and use as bacon bits sort of on salads

slice thin and juilianne (in tiny strips) and make a bbq sauce and eat like bbq'd pulled pork sandwiches

dice up and use in a stuffing..

    make casserolles with it..

chop up in a small dice and toss with mac and cheese..

Cut into individual servings, put each in a sandwich bag, put all the bags in a freezer bag, and freeze them. I do that with a big spiral sliced ham every Christmas when it goes on sale. I get a year's supply of breakfast ham for about 1/3 the usual price.

    Try this ...

    FRIED CHEESE & HAM SANDWICH

    Serves 1

    INGREDIENTS

    2 slices of cheese

    1 slice of cooked ham

    2 slices of white bread

    Butter or low fat spread

    2 tablespoons of oil

    METHOD

Make a cheese & ham sandwich.

Put the oil into a frying pan on a medium heat.

Add the sandwich. Fry it, turning it once, until it is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.

Split pea soup or Navy bean soup with ham

Fried egg and ham sandwiches for breakfast, then either a bean soup or a nice potato soup.

Mom and I tried almost every one of the above ideas, they were all good.

My fave is to soak great northern beans overnight, change the water, and slow cook them. Add the butt end of the ham, and let it slow cook.

This is cheap, easy, and delish. Mom put just a tiny bit of ketchup in it for color.

Otherwise, ham in my thousand island coated salad, and a grilled ham and cheese sandwich are tops.
