Sex Advice for a Christian Teen Girl? Help please!?

Okay, so I am fifteen and have a pretty intense sex drive.. Like, no matter how I try and control it, it's crazy. It's all I think about. I try not to lust, I've prayed over it, but it's so hard, I just can't stop lusting. And half of me wants to abstain from intercourse or oral sex until I am married. But the other half of me, the half that just wants to have non stop sex with my boyfriend of 3 months (whom I've had a thing with for 7 though), is growing stronger every day.. I know I do things I shouldn't, like make out and grope and stuff but that helps to satisfy me just enough to gain some self control, you know? Like if I didn't do that, my hormones would just like explode inside of me it feels like. This is awkward, but I also masturbate a couple times a week too just to control it. I don't know what's wrong with me, my hormones are so intense. I know this also because my period is insanely heavy, as in I'm bedridden (or, in better word, tub ridden for hours in like skin boiling temperature water for my severe cramps). I need some Christian advice for this. My sex drive has already caused me to make mistakes, like sending topless pictures to my boyfriend, and recieving pictures from him. but I've talked this over with him (he's Catholic, I'm Pentecostal) and we have decided to stop with that disgusting thing. I've repented on that. I just need help to control myself, I feel like I'm unnaturally hormonal cause it's mostly all I think about.. Help me! I don't want to give up my purity, or what's left of it!

I get how you feel. I'm also a christian girl with a pretty crazy sex drive. I've never done anything with a guy(never really had a chance) or sent pics but I used to masturbate a lot and watch porn, which is kind of embarrassing, and I think about sex a lot. My advice for you would be to get an accountability partner, someone who has gone through something similar and someone you can talk to about this kind of stuff. Have them check up on you, pray for you and get advice from them about this. Another thing you could do is whenever you start thinking lustful thoughts just read the bible, that should sober you up pretty quick.

If you want to stop doing stuff with your boyfriend, try not to be alone with him. If you're never alone it will be pretty difficult to do stuff. You may even want to spend some time apart( a couple weeks) to calm down. Don't listen to music with sexual lyrics or watch tv or movies with sex or sexual references. I've found that doing so helped me.

I cannot believe the idiotic guilt sodden, fear based nonsense some of these people have written as answers here. It is not a sin to be a natural person doing what God gave you a body to do. Given the truth of that , there are CONSEQUENCES for every action and I don't mean all this idiotic sin nonsense. God does not care at all what you do with your body , He is interested in your heart and soul. He wants your happiness. It is just that nobody really knows what that means .

Being young you are easily influenced by the preachers and all the guilt and fear rhetoric that they teach. YOU CANNOT GO TO HELL !

You need to find someone to talk to about this and I don't mean a religious person, I mean a secular councilor. Someone you trust. You need to get away from the religious stuff . It will drive you nuts!

    Peace!

“Sin lies only in hurting other people unnecessarily. All other "sins" are invented nonsense. (Hurting yourself is not sinful - just stupid).”

Robert A. Heinlein quotes (American science-fiction Writer, 1907-1988)

At your age, a powerful hormonal sex drive is normal. If you are having as serious cramps, then you really ought to see your gynecologist.

Sex is a wonderful thing, but it requires being responsible about it. Did you know that teenagers who do the abstinence thing have HIGHER rates of teen pregnancy and STDs than do teens who got proper sexed and who use responsible precautions before engaging in sexual activity. Viewing sex as something 'disgusting' is so wrong a view that it can seriously mess up your whole life later on.

Such denial as you seem to be trying to make yourself have, is likely to increase your odds of impulsive activity, with the higher risks of pregnancy and STDs.

Masturbation is normal. Sex is normal. Abstinence for it's own sake is not.

I am an 18 yr old Pentecostal apostolic man an I go through the same exact thing everyday. Me an my gf have been together for 7 months an it's so hard to not have sex. The lust we have for each other is unreal. I know exactly what ur going through. Whenever u have the urge to masturbate/have sex jus start praying immediately an I promise u, u will not be turned on anymore. Praying brings god presence and that will bring u back to ur right mind. Also don't lay together instead sit on the dough out in the open, go for walks, do things that don't leave u 2 alone an close together. As for when ur by urself whatever turns u on take it out of ur life (ex. I had a twitter an I would always see naked girls on my timeline, an that would always get me thinking which would evolve to sex, so I removed my twitter an it has helped a lot.) it's tough but jus know wenever u feel that way his spirits in the room watching u.

Kissing is fine. Just be careful, some people say that kissin' is not a big deal but in reality, it is cuz it's a gateway to everything else that follows. It's naive to think that nothin' could happen. Just let him know how you feel, kisses are the best when they just happen, not when they are planned.

Having sex or not having sex will not change the intesity of of the drive. It will merely mitigate it for an hour or so

you will have the same problem and have sin

so...you are going to just have to deal with it.....like we all do
