Is This Spiritually Wrong?

Is it spiritually wrong for a Christian to give baths/showers and give rubdowns as a business.

There's no sex involved whatsoever. It's where people want to pamper themselves by paying someone to bathe/shower them and get a massage/rubdown while they do nothing except step in and out of the shower or tub.

These people are capable of caring for themselves. It's like they're paying someone to clean their house, but instead, they're paying someone to clean and care for their bodies. They would want this service about once a week or every other week.

A lot of them are asking for older women who have worked in nursing homes and private duty who are experienced in personal care and understand that it's not a sex issue, but a personal care issue.

Can I please get some realistic feedback preferable from those walking in Christ, but anyone feel free to comment.

This would seem to be a common sense issue, wouldn't it? How can those things be considered wrong if there's no bad behavior occurring? If there's no sex involved, there's no lust involved, and it's about the same as getting your hair done. So again, from a common sense standpoint, why would ANYONE imagine that there is some kind of spiritual offense being committed if nothing offensive is actually happening?

You seem like a thoughtful, reasonably intelligent person. This makes your question all the more confusing. If someone told you that this activity was spiritually wrong, why in the world would you believe them or agree with them?

People actually would pay someone else to wash them?

I understand getting pampered like having a massage and stuff, but that just seems a bit weird.

No. It's actually common practice among nurses aids. There's nothing wrong with helping others with such tasks, especially when working with the disabled.

It's a career option for those who desire to help those unable to help themselves.

I am by no means Christian, but isn't it all about caring for other people and loving everyone respectfully? You are doing good.
