Should I do a foundation degree?

I'm not entirely sure i could do a full degree in aircraft engineering. (or that i want to)

So i thought, If i do a foundation degree, then I will also get the chance to take my A license test which would allow me to work on aircraft, giving me better initial employment prospects. This license would usually cost several thousand pound i think.

However, if i decide I don't want a job, Could i always just do a 'top up' year to turn my foundation degree into a proper degree?

Your best bet is to get the answers from the organisation offering the degree. They should be able to help. If they dont know these answers I will be surprised.

Source(s): Did a foundation degree but not in engineering.
