EDIT: @Choko_canyon: I can remember a time when people could go to schools, movie theatres and most other public places without worrying about some nut with a gun entering and shooting everybody in sight. There were isolated incidents from time to time, but now it happens all the time. One can't even keep up with spree shooters anymore. We now have people eating each others faces off, teenagers knocking out senior citizens because they think it's fun, assaulting each other and their teachers, raping each other, then bragging about it! They have no remorse, no regrets.

There is no way you're going to convince me that things have 'always been that way' and it's no worse now than it was. Anyone who thinks that way is in deep denial. Read 2nd Timothy 3 and compare to the state of mankind today.
