Roman Catholics: What are your thoughts on the Kolbe Center for the study of creation?

I have followed them since the very beginning. They have never gone against the Magisterium nor have they followed anything but the best science. At the very least they represent honest intelligent well-informed opposition to science that has advanced mainly by intimidation and the hounding of its critics.

There is no literal truth in Genesis, or any other of the early books of the Bible, and you have to preform some amazing mental gymnastics to make them make any moral or metaphorical sense.

The Bible is completely and irrevocably wrong about the formation of the universe, our solar system, this planet and how life developed on it and it only starts being vaguely close to being somewhat correct in mentioning the Egyptians, but while providing no useful information about them, presents a completely mythological story. Evidence rules and myths, like the Bible, are nothing but fantasy.

I think the whole debate is stupid and pointless.

I go to work every day to care for dying people. If this won't save them or give them comfort, it's not worth my time.
