Normal blood pressure and heart rate for 15 yr old girl?

I just took my blood pressure, it was 114/69 and my pulse was 59. Is that too low?

Anything under 120/80 is normal but they would like it even lower now. 110/70 is optimal. Anything over 140/90 is considered high. To get it down don't eat too much salt, exercise and eat right. Sometimes genetics play a role so even if you do those things you still might need a medication to get it down. You can also have high blood pressure in times of stress and most people think going to the doctor is stressful. Your pressure could be fine but still watch the salt.

Why did you decide to take your bloodpressure? Blood pressure varies throughout the day and IT is affected by various factors including physical activity and anxiety (both of which will raise the reading).

The readings you have taken including your RESTING heartrate certainly fall within the NORMAL RANGE.

Hope this answers your questions for now but if there are health issues worrying you your GP or maybe a nurse at your nearest health centre will be able to help.
