Do you ever get best answer when they don't like your answer?

I've actually had one or two cases where I got BA apparently just so the asker could add a comment cussing me out or threatening me. I assume they're simply not bright enough to edit their question, or to read the community guidelines.

There are reasons. Here are some I know about.

1 There is a way to choose that none were best

2 Another way is to choose all were good enough to be best

3 If we don't get back to choose the best answer, others will choose.

4 There also is a way to choose that there were no best answers because they were all bad.

HOWEVER the way to do these are not easy to find out.

So, in such a situation as this, people feel they have to choose something,

and they may not like any of the answers.

Yucky, I know. I'd like to know how to do these things, too. And I'm pretty bright!

yes, I've also gotten BA for answering loaded Q's from little kids and gotten blocked by them, and other times I'll get BA and the asker will report me for a bogus violation to get rid of the Q and try to "get back at me" or something. (both are pretty immature moves to be honest)

...however the last one doesn't really do much if the violation report is obviously wrong since I can usually get those overturned pretty easily. And the fact is that doesn't matter if the Q has been deleted you can still get the points back either way! And on the off chance I can't it means I lose the 10pts that I got for getting the BA in the first place....which leaves me w/ 0pts at absolute worst.

Yes, quite recently I received best answer then he blocked me. The question asked why he got suspended, I answered probably for multiple accounts. He didn't like the reason but knew it was most likely the reason.

It happens, once I got the best answer and I looked at the others and they were more detailed, and I probably would have chosen them instead.
