Wait for those... 'Months...' you will get many gals..as friends..
No need to change yourself. Just be talkative and don't show much attitude.
After joining college, show your talents..(not esply to gals.. but to all) If you know singing, dancing, guitars, drawing, or any crazy knowledge like.. fast maths, good remembrance, magic, etc

Dress Well Speak with confidence & smile & you got to make the start. Remember girls wont come after you wanting to speak make a confident & sensible approach & be funny sometimes girls would like funny guys

Wait for few months and when you will be in college,
you will get a good chance to have girl friends.

Just go and interact with some girls without any hesitation or shyness interaction indirectly brings out friendship be it with boys or girls
