Pretty sure the matter is very subjective and very much dependent on each person's emotional state. Someone will die laughing when showed an index finger, while the other will frown throughout an entire episode of "The Big Bang Theory". Or it could be the same exact person just on different occasions.

I was laughing my butt off while watching "Hangover" for the first time.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail is the funniest movie of all time. From beginning to end it had you laughing with so many memorable jokes.
