Problems with the new YA?

Anyone else having problems with the new YA?

I had been going through YA Canada for the old format but now they got that one changed over too.

I can't leave comments at all. The box opens but it won't let me type in it.

The search function sucks.

I've tried it in different browsers.

I have enjoyed coming on and off here for years on my coffee breaks to just answer quick Q's without getting dragged into long conversations like regular message forums but it's just so frustrating to use now I feel like looking for a new place for goofing off.

Does anyone know if these problems are common, and if so does anyone know if YA is doing something about it?

Or where we can E-mail complaints?

    There's also a thread to post specific bugs/issues with the new format.

    The new format is different, for sure, but I have had no problems using it. There are some bugs and glitches, but there were always bugs and glitches with the old format, too. Nothing unusual about bugs and glitches.

    There would be no point in emailing complaints. Yahoo! is well aware that many users hate the new format, so any complaint would likely fall on deaf ears.

    It's been happening for me for months now, the new 'improved' <pause for hysterical laughter> version was rolled out for the UK some months ago. When it first started I had to use an older version too, since sorted I think.

    Yes the search function sucks, so does 'saved searches' which will email you questions from five years ago...that you answered <facepalm>

    There are literally millions of people complaining about it and so far Yahoo are completely unresponsive and unworried about the problems it's caused.

    You can still view the old layout in Internet Explorer's "Compatibility View" mode. However, don't hold your breath for it to stay that way forever.

    It is impossible to e-mail compliants because it is locked down tight. If you tried to see company profiles, you will only see the personal backstories of the interns and corporate officers.

    It took me three days and a feedback complaint to figure out the new format. I still hate it but i think this...format...is here to stay. :(

    ETA: Perhaps scratch that...as it seems they went back to the old format (at least that I see).
