I never thought he was really viable. IMO the bridge scandal didn't hurt him as much as how he responded to it. One of the GOP's problems is they have a dearth of good, charismatic candidates. The two top ones now that everyone is talking about are Rand Paul and Paul Ryan. 8^P Good luck.

Yes. He could still get the nomination. He's a big-name candidate and was able to win the black, Hispanic and female vote in a Democratic state. But its doubtful Republicans would rally behind him, because they view him as a Democrat. But there's always a chance he could be so assailed by the media that conservatives may defend him just habit. But my guess is they'll want a "true" conservative. They're tired of moderates like McCain and Romney.

At this point, I can not see anybody giving Hillary any competition. As soon as working democrats realize that their coverage is going down and out of pocket goes up, it may be a different story.

No. He is a RINO. Hell I'd just as rather see Mitt run again as have Christie be the nominee. Name 1 time Christie has took a stand and fought for conservative values like Ted Cruz, Paul Ryan, or Rand Paul?

He has lost potential in the eyes of potential donors who have to bet wisely during the primary...so that won't help, regardless of the investigation

"nothing new in the last several days."
That doesn't matter. Political scandals often take more than just a couple of weeks to unfurl.

He never was unless losing another election is a goal for the GOP.
