No. I've always made certain that I pay the full credit card balance within 1 to 2 months.

Nope, never. The best rules when it comes to credit cards are: Never buy what you can't afford to pay the bill on, and always pay the full balance. Paying the full balance should be doable if you followed the first part of the rule.

I did when I was young and stupid and bought into the whole "I'm young, I have lots of time to pay it off, I want to travel" idea. Spent the last 15 years paying twice as much as I spent after interest to get out of that stupid little adventure phase of my life. But now, I'm doing much better and am much more responsible financially. Maybe it's a good thing I went through that stupidity.

No, I make a point of only putting as much on my card as I know I can pay off at the end of the month.
The only debt I have is a mortgage, thankfully.

It sure is... I've almost maxed out all my cards.. but I pay my payments on time... so that's a good thing
