Why do Americans don't want to spent a lot on education?

Question

California learnt that it can't compete with Mississippi and Alabama in the National test scoritizations so they come up with the California Common Core Program (CCCP) to make up their own tests and answers so the Mexicans who come to class half the time can learn better and get the better grades.  LOL.

Over the past decade , even longer , more and more money has been thrown at schools and test scores go down and down .

Paying Liberal Unionized teachers and administrators more and more does not benefit students at all .
Neither does eating up even more tax payer dollars to fund a federal board of education .

What really needs to be done is hold teachers accountable for the illiterates they turn out .
