Replace of break fluid of Kia Soul 2012?
Hello All,
My child made mistake before 2 months when he added an amount of water to the break fluid instead of washer fluid . Now i feel that the break does not work as before in which a break action will stays after a few seconds of pulling off the foot from pedal, so im thinking of replacing break fluid but i do not know how can i do it with this car which has ABS and also which kind is the most suitable with Kia Soul 2012 with regards.

Absolutely have the fluid flushed and changed. Water causes corrosion and can lead to failure. It also easily boils and turns to steam when you are driving, because the brakes get hot. This will make the brakes mushy and ineffective. Brake fluid loves to absorb water, and it will ruin all the cylinders and pistons. To be safe, I would have a qualified mechanic disassemble and inspect. 2 months was too long to wait.

you'd better let the service station do the work, it is dangerous on highway without a good brake
