I can't delete a Google Chrome extension?
I have an extension on my Chrome browser that won't allow me to uninstall it. I've had problems with these types of extensions before, and the title of this one is UTAdReMovalAPp, and I have a strange feeling that has me assume that the extension MIGHT not be legitimate, especially when I never asked for it. Anyways, there is no delete option for it (the trashcan sign), and under "enabled" (which I also can't unclick) it says "Installed by enterprise policy." Under permissions, it says it has access to my website data, my browsing and tab activity, and can manage my apps and extensions and themes. I imagine that isn't the best thing like ever. Under the ID, is says "(This extension is managed and cannot be removed or disabled.)" Including the parentheses. Now, I really want to get rid of this, because a couple times I click on a legitimate link to a website or something, it brings me to one of those obvious virus websites telling me my computer is in probable danger and has a virus.
Now, I just want to know how to get rid of it. I've already gone into my control panel and tried uninstalling four other thingamajiggies (probable viruses) that have those awkward names with the random capitalization and no spaces, and though I double clicked them to uninstall, only on the last one did I notice a message saying "tried to uninstall but it seems it is already uninstalled, uninstall anyway?" That isn't exactly word for word, but it captures the meaning. I was thinking that maybe it uninstalled with the first I tried to uninstall, but then again idk.
Anyways, I apologize for the over explanation but I really want to make sure I don't miss anything important. Thanks if you could help!

The reason you cannot remove the extension like others is because it was installed and is being managed by a program that is installed to your computer, or a different computer that has google chrome and is logged into your google account.
To remove the extension, find any programs on your computer that may not be there with your permission.
If this doesn't work, uninstall google chrome, and reinstall it. Then create a new google account to sign in with.
