Mother in law used my toothbrush?

My mother in law was babysitting for me a few nights ago. When she got ready to leave her car wouldn't start. So she had to spend the night. The next morning I heard her in my bathroom spitting out several times in the sink, like she was brushing her teeth. She didn't bring her own toothbrush. Because when she came out she was empty handed. I looked at the toothbrush and it was soaking wet. She had used my toothbrush!!! All I could think was what the???? Is it me, or does it take a rude person to walk in someone's bathroom, and use someone else's toothbrush. From now on my toothbrushes are getting put up.....

Update:

I went to the store and bought a new toothbrush, and a pack of toothbrush holders. I hide my toothbrush on a shelf where she doesn't know where it is. That's bad that I have to hide my toothbrush in my own house because she acts like she doesn't have any home training. I also told my husband, and he said it was nasty too. I also got him a new toothbrush and case. I told him there is no point in talking to her about it, because if someone in their 50's doesn't know better than that, they will never know better. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. I left the old toothbrushes in the holder on the side of the sink, she's free to use those. I should throw those away, and see how she reacts when she sees all the toothbrushes are all gone.

That was rude of her to assume your toothbrush was hers to use. She should have used her finger. Throw your toothbrush away, buy a new one and send her a bill for reimbursement.

That's disgusting, throw it out, for future reference just have an extra on hand just in case. Hide yours as well.
