Does this type of business exist? How do you get a job doing this?

What is a type of business where outside consultant(s) come in and audit a company on how well a company treats it's employees? Not how they use finances per say or how they place orders but how well they treat there own employees?

Where would you get a job doing this?

Thanks for looking!!!

A management consulting firm. There will not likely be a consulting firm that only checks how well they treat employees, but a consultant that specializes in human resources will take things like that into account. They will more interest in employee retention than just being a "good guy".

Outside of that, unions bargain on the behalf of employees. Again this isn't just checking how well they treat employees.

There are government regulatory agencies that make sure companies are following rules about how they treat there employees too.

There are things like this but a consultant is not going to just check how good employees have it. This wouldn't make sense for the business purchasing their service.

It can be tough getting into consulting, you should start with a bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or human resources. Get a good gpa, join student organizations, and take on internships.
