Do you actually think a beetle can effect climate?

if you said no, you would be right. However the beetle can certainly be effected by climate change

There may be more insects than you think.

I would say that it is highly likely that insects affect climate and I would include beetles in that.

EDIT: "Insects die in the late fall or Winter." See, proof! When insects are alive it is warm and when they die it is cold. /sarc.

Which one of the Beetles are you referring to, the drummer or the guitar players or the singers?

Cyclops put a bug in your ear and your reacted very nicely.

It sounds more reasonable than 0.03% of the atmosphere. Only you can't tax bugs. (Yet)

Mike L makes a good point. When the bugs die the temperatures are driven down. When there are more of them alive, they drive the temperature up. I wonder if Al Gore could make a movie of that. Oh, that's right, there isn't any money in that theory. (yet)
