Getting a Virgo man to open up?

Question

I'm a Capricorn, he's a virgo. I've known him for a year and 6 months now; we started out as being the best of friends and then a few months ago we finally started getting more intimate with each other if u know what I mean. Now he's slowly starting to show that he likes me and I've confessed how I felt for him as well.

I feel like the both of us hold back a lot when we're around each other. I've had so many bad experiences with relationships that I've become very shut down.  I'm shy around him and I hate that I act like this. I just like him so much and don't want to say or do the wrong thing that might turn him off because I've heard Virgos are fussy and critical. I also know that he's recently broken up with a girl he was with for 5 years. He doesn't know I know and I've never brought it up bcus I simply don't want to.

My question is, what are some things I can do or say to get him to open up? I think that he's heartbroken and I want to show him that I'm not out to hurt him, only care for him. Because I really do like him.

Any personal experiences from fellow capricorns or virgos would be extremely helpful!

Dont try too hard to gain a Virgo&#x27;s trust, it will just push them away. They will trust you when they&#x27;re ready. Im a Virgo, and it&#x27;s impossible for me to trust anyone but if i do, no one can change my mind other wise. You said he recently broke up with his girlfriend. In this situation you got to be very patience, he&#x27;s not going to trust you right now. Good luck!
