Brass should NEVER be used in a piercing. Brass is made of copper and zinc alloys which can cause metal poisoning. You know how copper roofs and statues turn green? It'll do that to your piercing within a few days, the metal will look fine, but your skin will turn green just the same way it would when you wear a gumball machine ring too long.
