Replacing motherboard, reload windows?

My motherboard is getting flakey, it starts crashing, I fiddle around removing cards & redo heat sinks and it works fine for a month or so then starts acting up again. Now it's not seeing one of my drives. I was going to replace it with a new one, but I'm concerned about windows 7.

Originally I bought the home version, then did the download upgrade to professional because I needed it for some of my programs. When I put in the new hardware and reinstall windows, how will I get the professional upgrade? Will that be handled automatically with the updates or ???

Thanks

Update:

Matt, that's the 'product ID #'????

xxxxx-xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx ???

Thanks

Windows is installed on your hard drive, not the motherboard, so if you only replace the motherboard you won't have to re-install the pro upgrade, you'll just need to re-activate using your current activation key.

Make sure to go to control panel / system and write down your activation key before you do anything so you'll have it on hand.

You replaced motherboard, and the windows 7 installtion is well, but the product key is not useful, so you need buy a new one.

If you want to get professional, you can download windows 7 profesional, and buy a product key to activating it. If you do not have the OS and product key, you could download the software and buy the key in Microsoft official site. But I think the price is too expensive, more than $200. I found a MS partner online shop with low price about $50 after discounts. You could search Go2keys.com on Google, it is well.
