Why am I getting so many pop-ups and unwanted junk on my new laptop?

We just bought new laptops around the first of this month. Ever since then, even using Norton 360, I have been invaded with tons of pop-ups and unwanted ads but only when I play games on Pogo. How do I get rid of these? It's driving me crazy. I spend all my time clicking on 'X's than trying to play a game.

Once I do get into a Pogo game....a pop-up appears, at the top, will NOT go away and I can't get to what I need to play the game, therefore, I exit out and just don't play anymore.

I went through my 'install/uninstalls', got rid of a few things and all was good. A few days later - it happened again, so I went through my 'install/uninstalls' again, and do not find anything new listed but they continue to stop me from playing Pogo games and will not go away. Even when I go into my Pogo account and click on 'help'....it redirects me to everything but Pogo help.

I'm ready to 'drop kick' this new laptop and go back to my reliable desktop because it never had this problem.

    Hello,

Sorry for the trouble. I am Vineeth and I am from the Norton Support team.

This must be a Potentially Unwanted program or PUP. Can you tell me the browser you have? Go to the Extension list or Add-Ons list in your browser and then disable them one at a time. Check which add-on is causing the problem. You may need to restart the browser after disabling each extension to test this. Once you find out the add-on which is causing the problem, remove it.

    Thanks!

    Vineeth

Open the browser and click tools, click options or Internet options and set the browser to block pop ups.

Your new laptop has a one year factory warranty and support contact them for technical help or repair.

Open Norton and make sure it is set to block pop ups.

Do you have a pop up blocker? Maybe it maybe a sign of some kind of Trojan or virus
