Why are so many "Christians" "Mormonphobic"?

As several of your respondents suggest, the hatred of the people of this world is enraged over the Christian sexual ethics of Mormons. They hate all conservative Christians who recognize that "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh" (Mark 10).

In other words, the people of this world hate Mormons because they agree with Jesus on the purpose, morality, and fulfillment of the human sexual drive.

But be of good cheer: The hatred of the world is an indicator of God's friendship and blessing. John 15: “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."

christians are taught by superstitious leaders and pastors. there is so much false information out there that they are naturally led against the spirit of God by abiding by false interpretations of the bible. they come up with some pretty good slanders to say against the mormon doctrine and many things are just outright wrestings of the truth. there is an apostasy, and the imaginations of men will conclude the most wrong stories that can be conceived.

The sane parts of their mind realize how absurd it is. Even though they believe in ludicrous things as well - but suddenly when it's apart of a different faith they can't seem to grasp it. This is the part that I don't understand. Because then they come at atheists and ask us why we don't believe. We don't believe for the same reason Christians don't believe Mormonism.

Perhaps they just think your beliefs are silly and demonstrably false? They probably would just roll their eyes and let you be, but Mormons seem to be determined to impose their beliefs on other people (e.g. Prop 8). It's that sort of activity that causes people to start noticing and commenting on the absurdity of Mormonism.

By saying that we are "phobic" implies that we are scared of mormons. I am not scared but am concern about your peculiar believes that you spread to people and claim that you are Christians. Nothing can be further from the truth.

Your religion hates Mexicans and says that we are cursed. Oh and that business that you have wards in Latin America and have Wards in the US that teach in Spanish don't cut it. I was raised in one of those US Spanish speaking wards. And guest what. That deal about Mexicans being cursed with dark skin is the same. Just look at the passage below.

And what about your Black phobia in which your religion denied Black men into your mormon priesthood and your mormon temple thus banning #1 mormon heaven. Then in 1978 due to law suits your prophet changed his mind.

I'm Mormonphobic because I don't appreciate 2% of our population spending 50% of the funds to try to legislate mandates against gay marriage.

I don't appreciate any time a group of people tries to marginalize another group of people.

It is obvious, even to Christians that Joseph Smith was a complete fraud.

I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess it's because of planet Kolob. It sounds like scientology when you start incorporating other planets into your beliefs on the origin of humans and earth.

Man made religion...another faith based system, created by a man "joseph smith"......jesus is our only hope.
