Crossfit ankle injury?

I have been doing crossfit for several months now. I haven't ever experienced pain in my ankles though. I don't have any previous injuries in my ankles. About 3 or 4 weeks ago we were doing a foundation class over double unders. I pushed myself extremely hard and after that I started receiving the ankle pain. Ever since then I have had the pain, some days worse than others. I have stretched it out, taken breaks from crossfit and went back yesterday after not going for several days and before the work out I was stretching my ankles out. I have discovered a new pain I have never felt in my ankle. it's on the tendon on the outside of my right ankle. It's not on my acheles tendon but on the outer side of it. I'm trying to avoid buying new shoes for crossfit because I just bought new shoes. Would ankle braces help? or any other ideas on how to get this pain to fully go away? It hurts when I do a slow jog, sprint, high knees (especially), butt kicks, and frog jumps.

Update:

I also have really flat feet in case that has to do with anything.

Update 2:

It also hurts when I do double unders or the jogging motion of jump rope, but not when I do singles jump rope.

I'd talk to my family Doctor, maybe get an x-ray taken. Hopefully it's nothing but you may need to stop for a while until you heal...
