I just got my period?
I'm 14 turning 15 in 3 days and I was sitting down on my phone and out of no where I feel something warm and I looked and it was blood!! I told my mom right away but I never experienced this and don't know what to do!! Please answer my questions
1. So you only get your period ONCE a month? Or like 2 days or a week
2. How do you know when your next one will come

Been there, done that! A normal period is once a month and they usually last 2 - 8 days. Write down when you get it in a calendar or something like that so you know when to expect it. For now though just put on a pad and don't freak out so much. Every girl goes through it so it's nothing to worry about.

1. It varies some have it every 28 days some of 30 and some people have completely irregular periods
2. Again it's different for everyone, for me I get really really irritable easily and I get over emotional, I tend to get a few period cramps too but not always, you'll get to know your own signs

yes it is normal to get your period once a month.... but since its your first period they will probably be a little irregular for a while. You should get the iPod/iPhone app "pink pad" its a really good period tracker... I use it and its pretty accurate. Some of your periods will be short, and some of them will be longer. You'll get used to it... You'll really have fun if you get your period earlier than it was scheduled and it shows up just in time for summer camp like mine haha.
