Whats the point? Benefit?

I'm an only child. From my perspective a sibling is someone you can hang out with when it's raining out or at night when all your friends are in their own houses. The alternative to having siblings is to be an only child, and that is very lonely.

There's always someone there for you. You grow up together and so obviously you're often very close and so when you need something you can always turn to your siblings. While you're growing up it's good to have extra friends too. They're kind of there for your own entertainment haha

Haha. I can say I don't see the benefit in one. But that's just me. If you're in a situation like me, my sister who is 20 and in college, hates me. Never calls or talks to me. Even as a kid she hated me! But, in most situations siblings are the best thing you could wish for. Too have someone around and ask advice from. Someone who will love you unconditionally no matter what!

They annoy you in every way, but you love them reguardless. They are usually who you go to for help. That's basically it.

i think siblings are overrated. it doesnt mean you will get a playmate who is your best friend. it doesnt mean you wont be spoiled or lonely.
I think we always want what we dont have .
