What is a good mile time?

So we ran the mile in PE class and I ran it in 7 minutes and 15 seconds. I was second in the girls in my class but I think fourth in the class overall.

I'm in eighth grade (14) and haven't trained at all, so I think it might be an okay time but I'm not sure! Is it okay? Obviously it's fairly slow and not prize-winning in any way but I at least don't feel horrible about it. What is a good mile time?

BQ: We also, on another day, ran a course for fourteen minutes and then said how long we went for. In fourteen minutes I ran 1.625 miles (1.5 miles + 1/8 mile). I was second in the class. Is that good?

BBQ: On yet another day, we did the pacer (if you know what that is), and I got 81. I feel the most horrid about this because I know that basically sucks. I don't know what I was in the class. But how is that?

Lol, yes, this whole question is me wanting to confirm my insecurities..... I wish I was faster and had more endurance! Who doesn't? I want a mile time of like 5 minutes, so until that happens.....yeah :(

Thanks!

Its okay but to be competitive I would say you should be down under 6.

For a girl's p.e. class that is very good.

To ever get to 5:00 requires lots of training and still many can not run that fast.

Yeah thats a great time! For my soccer team, the varsity coach wants our mile time to at least 6:00 minutes so, just get it under a minute. And the pacer sucksss, ugh but yeah thats also really good i think most kids dont get to 60
