Why am I not losing weight?

I am practically starving myself. I eat a bowl of cereal at around 6:30 before leaving for work. I don't eat lunch. I drink water pretty much all day until I get off work at 3:30. I eat an early dinner (balance dinner of mostly vegetarian items) at around 4-5:30. The only difference is that I have not gone to the gym for the past 3 weeks because I've been caring for an injured family member. I currently weigh 137...My goal is 120. I know it is a lofty goal but I'm down from 147. I don't snack during the evenings and I usually have 1 glass of wine with dinner on Fridays. Is the gym factor working against my weight loss? And suggestions and thanks!

You are not losing weight because your body thinks there is a food shortage and is being careful about storing calories. Truly the best way to lose weight is to eat several, smaller and healthy meals a day. That keeps your metabolism up and you'll feel less hungry. Good luck.

Why Cant I Lose Weight Right Now

Hi, i must say from experience, weight loss is one of the most prevalent. If you've tried to lose weight and you're asking the question: 'why can't I lose weight?', the answer might just be you can, you just have to give it time.

No matter how much people don't want to hear it, the fact of the matter is that weight loss is easy, all you have to do is eat fewer calories than you burn, and get more exercise. It's a two pronged approach, combine a sensible eating plan, one that you can stick with for the rest of your life and that will provide your body with all the nutrients it needs, and get exercise. That's it. It's not sexy, but it's the truth. If you follow this advice you'll be the one who's sexy!

If you are implementing a healthy, reasonable diet where you are providing your body with high quality fuel throughout the day and exercising strenuously, on a regular basis you will lose weight.

While not impossible, things like hormonal imbalances and extremely low metabolisms simply don't occur that often. Many people will try to use these things as an excuse.

The first thing you will need to do in order to lose weight is be honest with yourself. If you are going to make excuses as to why you can't work out, or why you can't eat right, etc, you will never lose weight.

I'm sorry if that's blunt, but it's the truth. Losing weight takes a commitment, not excuses. It's not that easy and it will take time and there will be times when you feel like giving up, but if you stick with your diet and exercise plan, follow it through and don't allow yourself to give up, you will love the way you look every time you pass a mirror. Isn't that worth a little bit of effort?

If you can just stick it out long enough to start seeing some results you will be much more likely to stick with it for the long haul. For many people the hardest part comes at the very beginning. This is the point when you are trying to re-learn bad eating habits and initiating a workout plan. You are probably tired, sore, and maybe even a little hungry.

But if you stick it out until you see a little bit of headway you'll have a real shot, finally, of being at the ideal weight for you and looking great. You'll never have to ask the question: 'why can't I lose weight?' Instead you'll be saying: ' Look at my new bikini!, lol, anyway, If this post has helped you in answering your question and would like to know more about losing weight and keeping it off check me out at

I spent my whole childhood being the overweight kid, being picked on in school, and even having my parents call me fat. I tried everything from barely eating to eating right and exercising every single day. Nothing seemed to be working, I wasnt losing the weight. I got out of high school and thought maybe it would get better, maybe now i can finally work at it harder and lose the weight. But I was wrong. Even into my adult life i was still overweight and i felt like i was back in high school all over again. People were truly horrible to me because i couldnt lose weight. I looked in the mirror each day and was disgusted with myself. I hated myself for not being able to do anything about the way i looked. One day i was out with an old friend i hadnt seen in a while and she suggested http://easy-fat-loss-factor.com./ I was skeptical at first as i thought it was another scam. I didnt believe it would actually work since nothing else has. I decide what the heck ive tried everything else. I got my copy and im so happy i did. I was like a zombie i read it over and over and over again. I learned so much that i didnt even think was important to losing weight. It’s comprehensive, detailed and customizable, with meal planning, specific weight loss strategies, different levels of workout routines and many varied weight loss recipes. The program doesn’t waste time with ineffective exercises and highlights high intensity interval training, the most effective kind of exercise for losing weight. I lost 85 lbs and im so happy with myself. I can finally look in the mirror and like what i see. When im out with my friends i get women asking me out for a change. I would recommnend this to everyone who is struggling to lose weight. It worked for me and i know itll work for you too. Good luck on your journey just remember to never give up even when you think nothing will work.

The reason you are not losing weight is because you are an adherent of the 45 year old low fat diet fad. Your diet is working against your body.

its not so much the not goin to the gym

its the fact that u r starving urself practically

u need food which is fuel and energy to burn fat and calories

    u r not eating enuff

hence they u r not losing weight

u need to eat 6 small meals a day

or 3 average sized meals to lose weight

and the way u starve during the day and only drink water

    is dangerous and unhealthy

Eating too few calories will put your body into starvation mode. Instead of losing weight, you will gain weight. In order to lose, you must eat.

when you starve yourself you end up putting on weight!! because your body starts turning everything into fat , to give you energy!! do it right, or don't bother !!!
