Why do followers of abrahamic religions support such a disastrous belief system?

You blindly believe as much as you blindly support a religion which has shown themselves to be worse than their "evil" counterparts. Likewise, you shame yourselves by gorging on misinformations and false teachings and then proudly regurgitating them back onto whomever you can.

Ignorance is not bliss in your situation, it is disgusting.

You support teachings that, to this day claim lives, prevent progress and censors free societies. Your congregations undermine so much we have strived to achieve for no reason other than hypocritical teachings and worthless people.

So, what is a good religious reason to follow religions such as these? Why support institutions that, to this day, are corrupt, and why line the pockets of well-to-do individuals (Olsteen and the super churches) whilst the rest of your "flock" and hurting.

You cheapen yourselves and this precious life, whilst fearing life and instead focusing on an unproven "after-life" which has yet to be known to exist in any religion.

Update 2:

@ Mr. Beary see @Gregory's answer for a direct example of blind belief.

Update 3:

@ Dawn C - Stop...just stop...I am seriously laughing so hard I am tearing. Go back to school, actually learn world history. You ma'am have no TRUE grasp of historical fact.

Christians helped ensure slavery proliferated the new world, they challenged the constitution and bill of rights prior to, during and after their writing.

Te constitution and bill of rights are a direct result of English rule, Greek philosophy and roman law, with a few asian (east and west) philosophies.

Hmm, good job, you would make a good politician with that many glittering generalities without any evidence supporting such claims

Wow- the ignorance you show is unbelieveable! You have no idea what you are talking about at all. The Jewish and Christian faiths have done more for this world than you could EVER imagine. Christianity is responsible for the public school systems. It was the first religion that actually brought equality to the sexes- before women were just property. It promoted justice- and it was BECAUSE of Christian influence that the blacks were freed from slavery in England and in America.

Judaism gave us a set of moral laws that has helped shape our society, and our system of government - supreme court, congress and senate were all set up based on the Bible, to keep the balance of power so that no one person could become a dictator, as it has happened in other countries. Hence, America became the greatest nation in the world. As we get farther away from Christian principles, we see how America is falling fast. We have become weak as a nation and the laughing stock of the world as we abandon the Christian faith to adopt more 'humanist' thinking.

Nearly every musical on Broadway was written and produced by the Jews, and Christians paved the way for science because the Bible taught them to 'test all things'. They learned that they were not to just take everything blindly, but to study and to try to learn about God's world- hence, we can attribute much of our science, our school systems, our system of government, our zoos, equal rights and charities to Christianity. You need to quit listening to the dummies who spout their mouths off when they know NOTHING of Christian and Jewish history and the influence for good they have had in this world.

I suggest you read the book "What if Jesus had never been born?" by James Kennedy. It might open your eyes and educate you a litte.
