I need some weight loss help?
I am very very discouraged. I am 5'5" and I currently weight 136. I am down from 145. I realize I'm still overweight and my goal is 10 more pounds. I am eating two meals a day and I don't snack in between. I have an under active thyroid and so it's already difficult for me to lose weight. I feel like if I eat anything at all it's going to turn into fat on me. I, getting to the point where I'm scared to eat anything and I am aware that I am prone to eating disorders because I've battled them off and on for years. I drink a lot of tea and water throughout the day. I am desperate to get this weight off by the summer. I'm in the process of moving and so I haven't been to the gym in about a month now. I guess my biggest question is whether my weight loss problem is my choices or lack of gym? I just really need some help in how to get this weight off and thank you!

You shouldn't focus as much on the scale - it sounds to me like you you are a great size for your height and age. If you are unhappy though, here are some things to change. First of all, don't use moving as an excuse to not go to the gym for a whole month. I get busy in my life too, but it is important to MAKE time for the 30-60 min exercise a few times per week. Second, I would eat more than 2 meals per day. This doesn't mean increasing your caloric intake a ton, rather spreading it out of the course of the day to keep your metabolism active. Here is a list of some great snacks to munch on between meals. http://wellki.com/diets/diet-trends/4022-diet-food...

EXERCISE! You will put your body into "fast mode" which means it thinks you are starving and will try to hold on to your fat reserves. You probably need to eat 3 meals, or better, 6 very small meals. Stick to low calorie choices. And exercise! The more you exercise, the more calories your body will be forced to burn. Also, you will build muscle. Not body builder muscle, but toned muscle that, in turn, will burn more calories when you use them. And you don't need to go to a gym. If you are sedentary (you don't exercise more than is required to get through the day, most Americans are sedentary) then pick out a few exercises and spend 30 minutes to and hour while you are watching TV doing the exercises.
