What's my best way to become a paramedic?
From the research I have done, I believe I have 3 options.
(In no order)
1- I go to UTAS (Sydney) and pay for my own training and try and make money on the side with a part time job.
2- Vocational entry to the ambulance service, that way they would pay me and pay for my training at the same time, another bonus is I will have a job when I finish because I already work with them.
Or 3- become a medic in the defense force, like with vocational entry option I will be getting paid and I will have a job.
Please let me know what you think and if there is another option that I haven't thought of.

start with an EMT class & work at that level for a few years while you gain experience. when you're ready, apply to EMT-P school. it's a great field.
