do animals sin?

some people think that there is no difference between us and animals, but animals can't sin. They make break our rules, but that isn't sin. Do you think it's because they did not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil like we did?

    Sin is the transgression of God's Law. That is the only definition of sin. Since it's impossible for an animal to break God's Law, then they haven't sinned.

    My answer - NO.

    Sin is a religious term, that is used to control its followers & animals for property.

    The Bible/Quran are books of primitive stories, created in a time that men were the head of the family and held nobility in society over women, therefore there stories got tainted with a male authority figure.

    Animals are driven by instinct. The term sin does not apply to them.

    They might sin. Only God knows.

    <Animals don't have free will>

    Animals have brains and neurons just like us. And their nervous systems are governed by the same laws of physics, including quantum mechanics, including the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, as us.

    No, animals do not sin at all. The bible teaches that only humans sin against God.

    "People" (by which I assume you mean "human") ARE animals, so yes. But if you mean animals other than humans, if they're not self-aware, no. (Whether or not certain other animals are self-aware, like dolphins, is up for debate.)

    And as I'm not sure there is a literal tree of knowledge, I doubt that's why.

    Animals are no sinners. They kill to eat, protect, their family and territory, not out of malice. Only humans feel they are so superior, that they think they can judge and decide who to kill for no reason......
