WiFi --> Ethernet Port?
My xbox wifi keeps dropping off, its only wifi too. If I run a 200' cable from my router to xbox, it runs fine and is lag free. a friend from work brought over his xbox and had the same problem on my wifi. He bought this device that plugs into the wall, takes in wifi signal, and outputs an ethernet connection. So he plugs his xbox into the ethernet port and it runs fine! No drops! He told me what the device is called, but I forgot.
Wifi --> Unknown Device > Ethernet port > Xbox.
THANKS!
My range is fine, 3 bars on most of my property. All I want is an Ethernet connection, without the cable from my xbox to the router.
yes, I know 200' is insane for a cable, i got it at a garage sale for $2.50. my xbox probably isnt even 120 away and is probably closer to 90 feet. thanks for the responses guys!!!!

That's called a range extender. It's really helpful for situations like yours.

If your router is 200' feet away from your Xbox I'm surprised it works at all.
