i have around $15k what car should i buy?
listen up b!cthes(jk). so i just turn 22 had perfect driving record for about 3 years.got license at 19. so i live in miami fl(dont move here it sucks ba11s, i hate it ppl here are sooo fake) i want to either buy a mer,audi,infiniti,lexus,acura,MAYBE cts. which car is the best ALLAROUND. but mainly i want cheaper insurance, least maintenance problems AND parts/labor are not to expensive. (insurance, car, title, ALL will be under my name, im an independent person)
from what i heard,(i dont want BMW they don't appease my eyes)
lexus is/ls, acura tsx/tl, infiniti g/m are the better choices.
i dont have $30k so i wont be buying the best, just a GOOD car but no hassle. also should i buy from owner or dealerships?

what car do you drive and did it give you problems?
i bought a 95 chevy monte carlo ls with 52000 miles(yes 52000) for $5200 in aug 2011, i know horrible deal, i ended up paying over $5000 for repairs within the next 2.5 years, piece of junk it was, so mad at my parents for buying me this car and making me pay for it in full just cause they were lazy to look for a decent car)
miami fl has cheaper cars compare to other parts of US.
i really want a lexus is 250 2009 4dr v6 auto transmission.

They are all really good cars, although if you are going to pick a german car a BMW or Mecerdes is better than Audi.
If you are worried about high maintenance costs, forget about the Audi. I'm not saying it's very unreliable but if for example your moon roof stops working that's a straight up $1k, the parts are a lot more expensive for german cars.
My top three would be from best to worst: Lexus, Infinity, Acura. Lexus is pretty much invincible, known for NOT breaking down...but Infinity usually has a bigger engine and more power but definitely can't match Lexus reliability. Is Acura still relevant these days?

I agree with Real's ratings, but keep in mind that if you choose to buy new from the dealership, then $15k probably isn't going to be enough to buy the car outright for: Mercedes, Audi, Infiniti, Acura, Cadillac, or BMW. However, don't let that discourage you from going for any of those, because personally, I think there's almost always a better deal used (from a private seller) than buying new. You just have to be willing to look for it. Also, your insurance rates and parts replacement costs could be quite a bit higher (per purchase) if you choose an expensive luxury model, such as Mercedes. Overall, there really isn't a one-size-fits-all car out there, but when it comes to just budgetary considerations, then Ford/Chevy/Chrysler etc. might be the way to go. If you go with a cheaper domestic model, I do know that the 4th-gen Mustangs last forever if you take care of them (easily over 200,000-250,000 miles) with really simple, low-cost maintenance.
