Can't put in my contact lenses (Please Help)?
Last week I got my first ever pair of contact lenses. I had a session where a so called "expert" was supposed to show me how to put them in. All he did was give me the contacts, some solution and a diagram. He would check in every few minutes but other than that he was no help what so ever. After 30 minutes or so of struggling I managed to get them in. Now, at my home, I haven't been able to get them in sense. He said I had deeper set eyes than most which would make putting them in a challenge, oh joy. Please help.

You have to look in the mirror when putting them in or they can get stuck on the side and really hurts.
When I first got my contacts, I would 'practice' everyday for about an hour for a week before I finally got them in.
I'm so used to it now that I can just pop them in with holding my eye. How I used to do it was made sure my hands were super dry and the contact was very wet. Dry contacts are difficult to put in.If I was putting a contact in my right eye, I would set the contact on my right index (or pointer) finger. Then with my left hand I would hold my top eyelid up with my index finger and with my right hand, I'd use my middle finger to keep the bottom eyelid open. I'd set the contact on my eye and shut my eye and roll it around to get it to set itself. Then I'd do the other side.
It is hard doing it for the first time but after it gets easier.

try sitting down in front of a mirror, and have the contact container, solution, and contacts. i like to pour a drop of the contact solution on each contact and then place it in ur eyes. my eye doctor was supposed to teach me too but he never helped. Good luck!!

Look in the mirror and hold your eyelashes away with one hand and enter the lense with the other. You probably can go on youtube to see them being put in.

You have to look at the contact while putting it in your eye (which may seem scary). If it doesn't go straight onto the color part of your eye, it won't be able to stick (with suction) to it.
