Yahoo is well-known for fracking up a good thing as evidenced by the many ways they have screwed up ANSWERS! Does anyone know how to select?

Does anyone know how to select "open" questions versus questions "in voting"? Does anyone know how to contact Yahoo anymore? Do they still notify you when a question is opened for voting? Is there any way to see how long ago was asked or how much longer it is open, etc?

Update:

This is the first time I've asked a question in years. Both answers have helped me a lot and I am considering the matter and waiting to see if anything is added. Thank you both.

There is no more community voting ... and questions now remain 'open' until the asker chooses a Best Answer. Even after a Best Answer has been chosen, the question can still be answered.

The timestamps have been removed, which is logical (sort of) since questions no longer expire.

You can still contact Yahoo! Customer Care at the 'Help' link below the 'gear' icon, top right of the page. Here's the direct link to Customer Care:

Choose the section you want to answer in... under the purple strip (towards the right), there is a small link that when clicked on gives you three choices.. All questions, fewest answers or No best answers. The no best answers is at least looking a little more promising that many are newer.

I've tried contacting Yahoo in different ways and get no reply.

Since I have never attempted what you are asking about, I really have no fracking idea about this topic. However that doesn't necessarily need to stop me from offering an answer.

If I ever truly want/need an answer from a company/corporation, I wait til I have enough funds to hire a dang good lawyer. Then wait a semi-generation for a series of letters that may offer a solution that will be understood, w/out a translator, w/in my lifetime.

Once that's been accomplished, I scratch my head & my nether regions, brush my teeth, & haul my overweight carcass, along w/ my overwrought consciousness, to beddy-bye, in the faint hopes my forgotten query will finally be answered to my satisfaction in the hereafter.

Wear your life like a loose garment, b/c that's what you're left w/, right?
