Can you cough during a seizure?

So i obviously I'm usually asking about myself. But, I was at school (highschool) and a kid supposedly had a seizure. I my self think it was fake but any way he coughed once or twice during it. Is there anyway you could cough during a seizure? Because as usual everyone thinks its real and the school calls a medic and so on.

Yes, you can. Sometimes people have seizures when they don't even realize it-so they could cough when they're having it too. And, not to mention, it's rather difficult to imitate a real seizure. I don't think this person was faking it.

A cough is something that automatically happens (it's your body's reaction) when something gets in your airway that's not supposed to be there. Whether the kid had spit slip into the wrong tube or something, the cough would not be something that couldn't happen during a seizure. It's an automatic reaction that he can't control (yes, you can fake cough but that's not really relevant to my point).

I just hope the kid is okay.
