If I'm 5'6, how long should my skirt be?
I'm considering buying a skater skirt that's 14" long, but I'm wondering if it would be too short. I'm 5 feet 6.

Hello there! Since skater skirts usually sit at your natural waist line, 14 inches is pretty short. It would be the length of short shorts. If it's for casual wear and you're okay with showing all your legs, then go for it. But if you're a bit more modest like me, then consider wearing it with tights-leggings, or buying a longer skirt.
I have a skater skirt that short and I only wear it with leggings. :)

Modestly speaking, you'll want to have a skirt that hits your knees. Now, if you have a bit of a butt, it will affect the way the skirt fits in the back and may shorten it a bit, so take that into consideration. What I would personally recommend it measuring from about where you think the skirt will sit on your hips/waist and measure over your butt to your knees to get the full length in inches. (I'm assuming you're buying online)
Otherwise, go in store and try it on. Fail safe.
