I have an idea of what I want for a tattoo, what do you think?

Question

I want a sunflower with only 11 petals. Each petal is a representation of one of my siblings. I'm gonna get their first two initials in each of the petals. The only problem with that is one of my siblings was miscaried and she only had a first name... so I was thinking of just the letter "E" followed by a small heart...

I'm gonna get it on my shoulder like in this pic:

That sounds really nice and an awesome idea, as someone said though if they get married the initials will be different, maybe just have their first name initial if you can? But.... It Does sound like a really nice /personal design - hope it goes well and looks great :)

I love the idea of a sunflower, it's such a happy flower (: And maybe like Aaron said, just the first initial? 
And a good tip - go to a good tattoo parlor, it might be a little more expensive but better to have a pretty tattoo than a bad one (: Remember - it's gonna stay on your skin forever!

i love the idea of the sunflower, with a petal for each of your siblings
not keen on have 20 odd letters on it

what happens when the girls get married? they may change their name
and it will look scrappy and cluttered
you know what it represents, thats all that matters
the sunflower on its own would be beautiful
