Question regarding peoples opinion when exercising Freedom of Speech and not agreeing with Government Laws.?

I am a Disabled Vet from the War in Iraq, that I now know was a fraudulent war based on US global positioning and oil for big corporations, which is the reason I got out.

My question is this: Why are people so ready to say if you don't like this country you can get the F out?

Do they know that our elected representatives get paid off through lobbying which is legalized bribery and that corporations want to pass laws that suit corporate interests.

Things like the Patriot Act and National Defense Acts of 2012 and 2013 are a huge hit to our civil liberties.

Also having to have a social security number in order to have a job or have a bank account or put your children in school is like the number that the Nazi's gave to the jews in interment camps

Or about how the NSA has been gathering information about everyone through social media like twitter, facebook, instagram, phone compaines and other corporate organizations to create a profile on you.

to those who say "well I have nothing to hide" you are missing the point entirely

I was reading how our number on our birth certificate is actually a stock exchange number

We are HUMAN BEINGS created by whatever divinity you believe in, not slaves or wage slaves

As a person that has served The United States People not the government. It offends me greatly when people say this to me and i don't comprehend why? I mean did MLK Jr. leave? No he didn't and we are a better country for it now.

Update:

I am not trying to say that I hate this country or that it is all bad. What I am saying is that like some have stated destroy the FED. This is true because ever since its 1913 when this country was handed over to the international bankers they have been slowly putting people in power they can control or bribing our representatives to take away from what our founding fathers gave us. If our founding fathers were alive today they would all be in prison for treason or burned at the stake.

Update 2:

For those who say That they don't believe that these things are happening or that we are the greatest country in the world. These are both untrue. Now we USED to be the best country in the world, but that was until other countries started drafting the Magna Carta into their Constitution like we did because that is basically what the US constitution is. Governments are given their power by the people not the other way around.

Update 3:

I hate that our military is being used as corporate henchmen, much like our police, lawyers and judges are used to uphold corporate control over the people. I think it is a valiant thing these police officers and military do because of what they have to give up. But at the same time they are mislead like I was. Military and police are not required to read the constitution before swearing an oath to protect it. How can these people uphold the constitution if they don't know whats in it?

These are the consequences of the game, it isnt something apart from it. The defining rules of the game, which is literally monger as much greed as you can... The whole idea of liberty is the cause. Its the cause for ideals like capitalism and whatnot. Liberty is just a nicer way of saying selfish. We need to stop considering ourself different from each other and learn to use what we have in a productive manner with everyone in mind... Until we stop the entire idea of governance, capitalism, self-reliance, or independence, this **** will never stop.

Carl Marx had a good idea, but he didnt know the proper way of making it a reality. The thing is, we have the means of doing it now... We dont need yo do this whole national borders, money, and shlt anymore. We need to evolve into what we are supposed to be. We still live by the kings and queens rules, just sad... Now we just pretend that they are "elected." Jokes...

Freedom of speech is being free from government punishment. It only applies to the government, they cannot punish you for what you say. The guy on the street can say something punishing because he too has Free Speech. The first amendment only protects you from the government - no one else. Not the guy on the street, not an employer, not the cashier at the local supermarket, or any other non-governmental entity in the country.

Its a real dick thing to say to a Vet and I apologize to you for such ignorant comments made. Unfortunately, they are free to make them, just like you are free to call them a Moron in return. =)

Our system has it's flaws, but in comparison it is definately better than what you find in most countries. But feel free to give Iceland a try I have heard they are hands down the happiest people in the world. Sounds weird but who can argue with Conan O'brian??

First i must say that I value and appreciate your service and sacrifice for our country. However, I respectfully disagree. I consider the fact that our government is not entirely of the "up-and-up." But it is still the greatest nation on the planet in the history of civilzation in my eyes. im not in favor of much of what our government and representatives are up to, but I still believe in what this nation is founded upon and believe there is hope that we can get back on track to the progress our founders intendend. Our system is designed to do that very thing.

I do encourage those who are unhappy with our system of government to go elsewhere an find a better one, without hate or disrespect. I believe they will find much of the same, if not worse elsewhere. I often hear foreign nationals who migrated from their own homeland to the U.S. stand up for the American way which makes me proud to be one. Please believe that your service, and that of others, is not only in the support of politics and policy, but an ideal that those who wish to have freedom and liberty should have it. Ultimately, that is what I believe we are fighting for across the globe. The more nations we can get on board with the idea, the better it is for the entire world. There will always be those who are against it, and attempt to bring us down, from without and within.

I believe that America is about people like you and me, who may disagree on certain issues, coming together, in a tolerant manner, and working to make things better at home and abroad. We shouldn't let our differences hinder the advancement of our progress, as demonstrated in Washingtion on both sides. Lets agree that things can always be better and serve the best way to bring it about, without bring each other down. Again, I thank you for you service and wish you, your family and all of your fellow warriors the very best. God Bless!

You sound like one of Ron Paul's foot soldiers. I don't agree with the good doctor on everything, but hey when it comes to the First and Second Amendments I'm an on board libertarian.
