Climbing baby safety idea's?
So no I don't have a climbing and won't for a good time, but I wanted to ask this anyway to see what others thought.
Now when I was little in the early 90's they didn't have stuff they have now for protecting toddlers, that and my Father was a cheap bastard. Other then that my mom would put this huge fluffy red pillow by my bed to protect me from falling out. Funny story is I didn't fall out of the bed until I was even older and she had stopped. Only did it Twice though.
So what I want to know is that I have this horrible fear of the day my baby climbs out of their crib and drop to the floor. So I was thinking of getting a CordaRoy's Sleeper that looks like a Bean bag chair but it's filled with fluff and turns in to a bed. I wan to put it in front of the crib so if he or she drops, they will land on the bed and either crawl off, or be so interested in the bed they'll sleep on it.
What do you think?

Not a good idea. The pillow could be a suffocation hazard - worse than falling out of bed. And if your child is that big to climb out - it's time to get a real bed for the lil one. You can then put the mattress on the floor, or use a toddler bed rail. I have a rail on our lil ones bed, he still manages to fall out of bed.
Montessori beds the infant sleeps on the mattress, mattress is on the floor. And this is from infancy on! No cribs!
