As long as they are willing to deal with the consequences of doing so.

The words "I'm offended" or "that offends me" are overused and next to meaningless. You could claim to be "offended" because I told you the sky was blue today.... and your taking offense would change absolutely nothing about the fact of the matter. Whenever you hear those words your first response should be something along the lines of ".... okay you're offended. Now what?"

"I'm offended" is a simple mind's attempt at cutting off conversations they are not personally comfortable with or have nothing intelligent to add to. They can walk away if they don't wish to talk about what is being discussed, but that's no reason not to discuss it.

You can say any you want but like Greg posted you need to be aware of the consequences. Too many people use Freedom od Speech as an excuse to say whatever they please however when a person speaks just a freely back at them is disagreement they get angry.

In the USA, which is supposedly the only questions I'm supposed to be getting questions from...there is freedom of speech, which guarantees anyone and everyone the right to speak. People have fought and died for this.

Now all we have are idiots whining and balling about every inane BS topic that comes to mind, because no one ever taught this people that just because you *can* say/do something, doesn't mean you should!
