Spilled water on keyboard, some keys not working?

I have an ASUS laptop and the other night when I got home I accidentally spilled some water on the keyboard. It wasn't a ton of water or a full out spill, I just squeezed my water bottle and some of it splashed onto the keyboard. However, its been almost 48 hours and some of the keys still aren't working. Do you think it would've dried out by now and is it likely I'll need to get a new keyboard? The computer works fine, and I've since plugged an external keyboard into the USB so I can still use it. However, this is obviously a hassle though. I'm studying abroad in Australia right now and I'll be going back to the US in a month, but with finals coming up I can't afford to ship my computer off somewhere for a week so they can replace the keyboard.

Water will make the bits of biscuit and dust and anything else under it to become sticky. If the keys are individual then just prise them off from the bottom carefully. Clean the back and the pad underneath, place the top of the key in first then press the button back in, it should click back into place OK.

    Get a new keyboard.....its cheap.....

Or unplug the keyboard... pull out all the keys....clean any debris inside....make sure it is completely dry inside.....Try plugging again to see if it works....

If not...The internal circuit got damaged so repairing or replacing is the only option you got
