Will Al Gore ever man up and debate Lord Christopher Monckton.?

Monckton is a liar, why would anyone want to debate with him?

The problem with "debating" with deniers is that they are not constrained by the truth, and in a debate format a smoothly delivered lie can seem convincing.

Neither Monckton nor Gore is a scientist. Scientific subjects are debated in the scientific literature, and Monckton could try publishing there if he has discovered something important.

Lord Monckton is a laughing stock and a proven habitual liar.

Three colleagues and myself stayed at one of his properties in Scotland. He was more than happy to meet us until he was informed that we were climate scientists, at which point he backed out.

In any event, neither Gore or Monckton are climate scientists, neither actually know what they’re talking about. Gore cherry picks his information from scientific reports, Monckton invents any old rubbish to peddle to his believers. If the two were to debate it would be a joke.

PS – You do know that Monckton claims he invented a cure for Cancer. He claims he was Chief Scientific Advisor to the Conservative government in the UK despite having absolutely no scientific qualifications at all. He claims he is a Lord and a member of the House of Lords – he isn’t and the House of Lords, in an unprecedented move, officially ordered Monckton to stop lying. Do you know what his ‘cure’ for AIDS was – lock up anyone with HIV or AIDS for life.

Why does Monckton want to debate non-scientist, Al Gore, rather than a scientist? Is Monckton afraid that he will lose if he debates a scientist?

Why debate with a shill for big business, why not debate a climate scientist that questions global warming? Answer: because there are none

Gore is a bully. However, he is also a cautious wimp.

Why would Monckton waste his time with such a Buffoon?

Gore was a Divinity student in college and has no understanding of science other than the ability to scam it and some rubber backboned scientists to make hundreds of Millions.

Gore has been successful at Brainwashing young innocent school children (and many of their teachers) with this fabricated, Man-made, Catastrophic, Global Warming Crap. Appears to me to be mental child abuse.

I expect not. Gore has nothing to gain but everything to lose from such an encounter.

Also, Gore may be very shrewd but he is not as bright as Monckton. At one of Monckton's presentations or debates someone called him out on one of his assumptions. Monckton re-calculated a new result based on the new (to him) info there and then. Try to imagine Gore doing that.

Having said that, neither person could be considered a climate expert and Monckton is both an asset and a liability to the sceptic cause, in my humble opinion.
