How good are timber wolf knives?

Just curious since I have never owned one. I am looking at the full tang sword

Good enough to buy because it looks cool. Add it to your collection, put it next to you bed, take it out to your backyard and have some fun slaying cardboard boxes and whatnot.

Once upon a time I had a BudK phase, and have done all of these things. Nothing wrong with it as long as you are honest about your expectation.

Now, if you are looking for an actual workhorse... something to do serious brush clearing, wood chopping, or any sort of live "contact", then I would highly suggest looking at something else.

It is a stainless steel blade, which is not nearly as tough as carbon steel. Because it is an overseas knife, made by a company known for "cheap" blades, there is no way to know how well of a heat treatment it got. It will dull fast, and might not have enough flex to withstand breaking.

My suggestion to you, if you want to have something cool that you actually can beat on without breaking, is look into the Cold Steel line of machetes. They use carbon steel, and once sharpened will stay very sharp. They offer it in plenty of cool "sword like" styles. I own several, and have used them very abusively.
