Does this Korean guy like me?

So to keep it short, I met a guy over a year ago and we saw each-other again two months ago once I travelled to his country, Korea.

We got on and he was very sweet, protective and chatty with me. Once I left Korea, I realized I wanted to move there for sure and I'll be there by December. I know I will meet other guys in Seoul but since we are still in touch, I am hoping naively that he will still be romantically available by then.

He has said many good things about me face to face and online and he immediately replies and keeps up the conversation whenever I do contact him (twice a month). However, he doesn't initiate the conversation unless it's my b-day or something. Should I just go on and see once we meet again?
