Is it because of the World Cup?
I live in a large townhome complex that has always been extremely noisy, with 90% of the noise coming from the incessant gardening equipment. Leaf blowers at 7:30am, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, weed whackers-- all day long, 6 days a week, 9 hours a day.
Well, I've noticed these last few days things have been so peaceful and so pleasant. I don't have a 90 decibel leaf blower outside my bedroom window every morning-- sweet relief!!
The level of quiet is AMAZING without them around.
But now I'm wondering-- what's going on???
Do you think the gardeners are on "vacation" since the World Cup is being played?
All of the gardeners on the crew are Hispanic.

Most of the gardeners that I see and know are Hispanic..... so they probably are watching the game.... Yay for you!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of the world cup.
