What would you do with a loud-eating coworker?

My coworker sits in the cube next to mine. He's a pretty good guy except that he's one of those individuals that insists on bringing in their own food in an effort to stay healthy. Hey, no problem there, it's perfectly understandable. However, he picks LOUD foods like carrots, apples, celery, etc and chews with his mouth open. At his desk. Every day. All day long.

All office workers make the occasional food-related noise. I'm not saying I'm perfect in this regard. But everyday, all day long is something nobody else does.

What would you do in this situation?

If he is only doing for a certain amount of time, maybe listen to some music. If it's literally all day... then I don't even know man, sorry

Had the same thing; she would eat disgusting things and heat up home made concoctions in th microwave and then slurp chomp and belch all day long. Her gulps while drinking coffee were incredible; even with headphones on I could hear her. In addition to that she never stopped proselytizing; I was going to hell unless was born again, blah blah blah. Just repulsive.

Tell him jokingly he eats to loud and you cannot concentrate on your work. If he takes that to personal. Than what is he going to do. You cant get fired for telling him something like that.

Cook his vegtables, or pull his teeth. Or, explain to him that the noise is unpleasant and goes on way too long.
