Should I worry about my daughter going swimming at camp if she has Rolandic seizures?
My daughter is 6 years old and was diagnosed with Rolandic seizures about 10 months ago. She just had a 10 second seizure tonight. I don't know if it happens more often or even during the day when I am not with her. I am worried about her swimming at summer camp. Does anyone have any advice?

It should be fine if you specify on the registration form. I have a son who has multiple seizures every day, and he swims with other people (such as at camp). She would need someone watching her but the camp should be able to accommodate easily. I would speak to them in person after you've submitted the form, to see how they'll deal with it.

Usually when you fill out the registration form they ask about any medical conditions. You should definitely write it down and talk to the counselor about it. Although, they may not want to take any risks and not allow her to swim if it happens too often. I also recommend you talk to her pediatrician and see what he/she says about it.
Good luck
